Mobile TowersThe versatile nature of the CUPLOK system ensures that it can be easily adapted to form mobile access towers in a variety of sizes up to 2.5 m x 2.5 m square, using standard access components with scaffold boards or a SMTL batten platform in conjunction with castor wheels. Standard plan and swivel face braces ensure maximum rigidity. The maximum SWL on all CUPLOK towers is 10KN. The maximum height of free-standing towers used inside enclosed buildings must not exceed 3 ½ times the smallest base dimension. Used externally free-standing towers must not exceed 3 times the smallest base dimension.
Where scaffold boards are used to form the decking on towers incorporating a 1.8 m or 2.5 m plan dimension, an intermediate Horizontal will be required.
All towers require plan bracing at the base of the tower and in other strategic positions. A range of sizes are available.
Access to the working platform should always be made inside the tower by means of a pole ladder.
Available in Steel and Rubber.
IF rubber tyred castors are used, the maximum height of the working platform is 5.9 m on 2.5 m square towers. Castor wheels must be secured to the tower and locked to prevent rolling. Towers must not be moved whilst supporting men or materials.
